OUR STORY:

MATTHEW 16:18 “…upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.”

MATTHEW 28:20 “…and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

As non-Protestant Baptists, we believe God’s Word that Jesus Christ established His local visible church during His earthly ministry before the Day of Pentecost, and that He has overseen its unbroken preservation and its multiplying over these last two thousand years since, and our local assembly is a direct continuation and extension of that.

1956, Feb 16:

Our local church was first organized in Lindsay as Lindsay Missionary

Baptist Church, sponsored by the Valley Center Missionary Baptist

Church in Tulare, itself organized on Oct 27, 1943.

1987, Sep 9:

After purchasing and moving into its present building in Tulare, the Lindsay Missionary Baptist Church officially changed its name, and now Grace Missionary Baptist Church has been here in Tulare ever since.

1988, Feb 28:

The Valley Center Missionary Baptist Church in Tulare moved its membership to join with the Grace church.
